We created Peaceful Parties because we know first-hand how stressful and lonely party planning can feel when your child has sensory or additional needs. We’ve been there… worrying about meltdowns, overwhelm and awkward explanations. We believe every child deserves to celebrate in a way that feels safe and joyful, and every parent deserves to feel seen and supported.

What are special interests? Special interests are deeply focused passions that many neurodivergent children develop — anything from trains to dinosaurs to a favourite TV show. These interests can be a source of joy, comfort, and confidence, and are often a powerful way for children to learn, connect, and express themselves.​
For many neurodivergent children, they’re a key way to reduce anxiety and connect with the world in a way that feels good.
By weaving their favourite themes into crafts, games, and sensory play, we create parties where children feel safe to be themselves — and have fun doing it. ​

Social Stories &
Visual Time Tables
Social Stories are a powerful tool to help prepare children for an event like our Peaceful Parties by providing them with a clear, structured breakdown of what to expect. You will receive a bespoke Social Story for your party that will help your child understand what the party will look like, what to do if they feel overwhelmed, how to interact, and that participation is encouraged at their own pace.
We also provide visual timetables, which offer a clear, step-by-step outline of the party’s structure using simple words and images. These support predictability and reduce anxiety by helping children know what’s happening now and what’s coming next.
Sensory
Den
Our Sensory Den is designed to work hand-in-hand with your chosen Party Package. It is a tool to support children in managing their sensory experiences and ensuring they feel comfortable and in control throughout the event. Our Sensory Den offers a quiet retreat designed to minimise overstimulation. With soft lighting, calming colours and sensory-friendly textures, it provides a safe space for children to regain control of their senses and emotions and rejoin activities when they feel ready.
Sensory
Kit
The Sensory Kit within our Den is a collection of tools designed to help children self-regulate should they feel overstimulated.
It includes fidget toys to help with tactile stimulation and focus, noise-cancelling headphones to reduce auditory overload, a weighted blanket to provide deep pressure stimulation which can be calming and help with grounding.
Our Kit complements the calming visuals and tactile comfort of our Den.
